Fat and Diet Myths

I am sure you have heard your fare share of dieting myths, some of which you probably do not know are actual "myths". The main one we are going to discuss today is below:

BIG FAT MYTH: Weight loss is very difficult and you need to have a personal trainer to achieve a decent amount of weight loss.

Our response to this is: BULL!

Again, we can't emphasize how BULL this is because ANYONE can achieve weight loss. It is not really that difficult if you break it down, and you definitely do not need a personal trainer to lose weight.

Whether you are 5 pounds away from achieving your fitness goal, or you need to lose 300 lbs, weight loss can and will happen if you want it.

And is it hard? Not really...

In saying this, it can take some dedication and some self-control over your eating habits. There are certain things that you should be eating, and certain things that you should not be eating.

As a rule of thumb, you should "eat from the earth". By this we mean that if it does not grow in or on the ground and comes pre-packaged, you can likely do without it.

Grains, vegetables, water, meat & fish are eating from the earth. Package crackers, cookies, non-perishables, chips, most sauces...basically anything prepackaged you can do without.

The diet within Strip That Fat is not that strict, but this would be a good starting point for anyone looking to eat healthier. Throw in a little exercise and you are well on your way to losing some serious weight.
